DigiJuly featuring Globemon, but with a twist.
Recently it was announced Denkou Choujin Gridman was getting a revival in the form of an anime by Trigger.
Recently it was announced Denkou Choujin Gridman was getting a revival in the form of an anime by Trigger.
I'm assuming Trigger's Denkou Choujin Gridman: boys invent great hero short is to thank for this, and I'm glad if so!
The anime is unrelated to the original live action series, but is apparently homaging its obscure DiC counterpart, in that the full title of the anime is "Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad Gridman".
Since Gridman took place in a digital world of its own, essentially Ultraman meets Megaman Battle Network, I wondered if Apps could be involved, hence this App Fusion.
If Gridman were an Appmon, I peg him as being an Ultimate Grade.

I can't help but find it amusing that you App-Gattai-ed a Tsuburaya hero with Globemon, whose next evolution shares a name with a Tsuburaya Ultra-hero.
