Description
Been watching Car Robots, the Japanese version of the original Robots in Disguise, and rediscovered my love for Opening (sung by Koji Wada, natch~) and Ending (tfwiki.net/wiki/Marionette), the later in particular: Marionette. (www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBBEgN…)
Occasionally, it'd play in some key battle or emotional segments (one such example was Koji sending a mass chain mail to the children of the world to help Omega Prime ala Our War Game), and for some reason, I thought of it playing during this battle.
The comic itself was more practice in doing Transformers comics, admittedly more in a style my speed. Though I was experimenting with the IDW style in addition to this.
Occasionally, it'd play in some key battle or emotional segments (one such example was Koji sending a mass chain mail to the children of the world to help Omega Prime ala Our War Game), and for some reason, I thought of it playing during this battle.

Part of this stemmed from criticism I'd been reading about recent IDW comic art, some of which made me steamed since some of the artists were actually quite good, and they were still getting slammed. I guess you can't please everyone, but I regardless worked really hard to make this look as good as I possibly could.
I also really wanted to draw more of my Transformers designs like Railslug, and
's Silverbolt design.
Also, in this canon, instead of Star Saber like I was originally considering, I wanted this superhero version of Silverbolt to be the leader of the Autobot group on Earth.
An idea I had considered, though didn't really communicate here at all, was that Mini-Cons have the ability to absorb the passionate spirit of other beings (in this case, humans), and power up/Evolve their Bulk partners once combined. The idea of using a power shovel actually came from a similar weapon used inMAR: Marchen Awakens Romance.
Silverbolt was meant similarly link up with a BlackArachnia style Mini-Con to use his blade attack on Railslug, but not really comfortable with the idea atm, I just drew the weapon as a natural ability. I still haven't quite figured out a vehicle mode design for Silverbolt, but I had wanted something Batmobile-ish, that was suggested by a teacher of mine back in college.

I didn't know people had problem with art. Frankly, IDW does the best when it came to drawing the Transforers.
