TFProject: Nightsqueak and Sonar

Nightscream is also interesting to me, though what I find most interesting is his prototypical concept: a Female Transformer similar to Alien 2's Newt.

I thought of playing with that prototypical version with this character, dubbed Nightsqueak instead. 

A random design quirk, the markings integrated around her Autobot symbol is meant to envoke the Beast Machines Maximal symbol.

Transformers have experimented with organics and their usefulness to the war effort or their own culture, but some groups have taken it the extra mile. Several extremist techno-organic groups have surfaced, often trying to pursue a wholly organic existence or some sort of (distorted) balance. Nightsqueak was born in the former, more of a cult really, where Decepti-Organic extremists succeeded in recreating a live birth from a techno-organic subject, seemingly for a hostile colonization attempt, even going so far as breeding massive, fully organic space ship like organisms. This particular group was brought down and taken into custody by the Maximal tribal leader Optimus Primal and his followers, and summarily stripped of their organic components as punishment. Optimus's group sought for a peaceful, beneficial coexistence and looked down on those who would try to use organics as bio-weapons. Meanwhile, Optimus took in the newborn protoform, and tried to teach her the Maximal/Autobot way, but Council had other ideas, finding the innocent bot a potential threat.

Despite Optimus' protests, Nightscream was put into cold storage for study, having been shipped off to an off planet facility owned by Ratbat and Swindle.
During a battle with Silverbolt's Autobots and Railslug, Nightsqueak's stasis pod was among some of the cargo the Insecticon lost in transit. 

Although extremely shy, soft-spoken and at first distrustful, Nightsqueak was eventually won over by Silverbolt's kindness and hammy chilvary as well Lickety-Split's enthusiasm at having a little sister. Like most Beastformers, Nightsqueak uses her augmented beast abilities to fight, specifically sonic powers and pulses from her bat form, but because she's still developing, this causes a strain on her vocal chords. In attempt to remedy this, she was given a Mini-Con Elecho-Bat named Sonar to help boost her sonic powers. Having previously worked with loudmouth Siren in the past, Sonar is deaf in one receiver, but still rather jumpy at loud noises. Nevertheless, he enjoys Nightsqueak's company, and sometimes serves as a translator for when Nightsqueak looses her voice or when her social awkwardness jumbles her sentences. In his Megaphone Mode, Sonar can act as a blaster and channel Nightsqueak's well squeaks and screams as powerful sonic concussion blasts. 

Because of her mostly organic nature, Nightsqueak's humanoid form allows her to blend in among humans fairly well, with some dismissing some physical oddities as nerdy cosplay. Her unique physiology requires her to eat food, but still being Cybertronian, she needs small doses of Energon mixed in in her meals.
